Come to the Fairfax Library on Tuesday, December 5th for a free workshop that explores writing for creative expression and growth. Susanne West, M.A., Chair of the JFK University Liberal Arts Department, will lead this popular workshop in the Fairfax Library meeting room from 6:30- 8:45 pm. No prior experience is necessary. Participants are asked to bring a notebook and pen. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. On Wednesday, November 15th at 7:30 pm, Joseph Bacon will perform a selection of Italian guitar music from the 16th-20th centuries in a free concert at the Fairfax Library. An accomplished musician, Mr. Bacon has studied with Andres Segovia, Ida Presti, Alexander Lagoya and Julian Bream; he has also done an extended study of Indian music with Ustad Ali Akbar Kahn. Mr. Bacon has performed for appreciative audiences in many cities including London, New York and Italy. Join us at the Fairfax Library for this wonderful opportunity to hear an extraordinary talent!
