Sing-along Bilingual Storytime at the South Novato Library

PJ Storytime with Randal McGee and Groark!

Storyteller Randel McGee and his side-kick Groark,a talking and guitar-playing dragon, will entertain children ages 4 and up at the Fairfax Library on Wednesday, Nov. 28th at 7:30pm. Teens! Craft Your Own Mayan Metal Jewelry

Teens! Come to the Civic Center Library on Saturday, December 8 from 11-1 to craft your own Mayan metal jewelry using soft metal that can be molded, cut and shaped. Learn about the Mayan culture and folklore at the same time.

Presented by artist and educator Zoe Harris who has been teaching in the Bay Area for over 35 years.

Wild Cougars in the Bay Area at the Civic Center Library


Come to the Civic Center Library on November 14 @ noon to hear Zara McDonald of the Felidae Conservation Fund talk about wild cougars in the Bay Area. Cougars, also known as pumas, are an essential species in the ecosystem. Come in at lunch time to learn about threats to their survival, guidelines for co-existing and information about a recent study on puma migration patterns and habitat connectivity. Admission is free. Classical Guitarist Joseph Bacon in concert at Fairfax Library

Join us at the Fairfax Library on Wednesday, Nov. 14th from 7:30-8:30 pm for an evening of splendid music from Classical Guitarist Joseph Bacon. Mr. Bacon will perform a selection of musical pieces from the 16th-20 centuries. An accomplished musician, Mr. Bacon has performed in London, Italy, New York and San Francisco.
