Conversation Club in English for Adults

Would you like to practice conversational skills in English? Do you have 1 hour a week to meet with other adults and talk about various subjects? Come and join us at the Novato Library! The club meets every Saturday from 12:30-1:30pm and no registration is required!

Twilight Premiere Party for Teens

Teens are invited to join fellow Twilight series fans for an evening of fun on Thursday, November 20th at the Novato Library in anticipation of the Twilight film release the following day! Our Twilight Premiere Party will be held from 6:30-8:30 and refreshments will be served. This teen event is free and no sign-up is necessary. Retablo Art Workshop for Teens

Calling all teens to join artists Rachel-Anne and David Tafolla for a free Retablo workshop on Monday, November 10th from 3:30- 5:30 pm at the Novato Library! Retablo is an art form where images are painted or adhered directly to materials such as tin. Traditionally, Retablo artwork focused on religious iconography and saints but it has evolved to include loved ones and role models. Supplies will be provided and refreshments served at this fun event. For additional information, contact the Novato Library at 897-1142.

Beginners Digital Photography Workshop at Novato Library

The Novato Library invites you to a free Beginners Digital Photography Workshop on Thursday, Nov. 6th from 7-8:30 pm. Bring your digital camera and we'll go through all the steps to download pictures from your camera to your PC and then upload to a web site for sharing, basic editing and printing of your digital photos. Attendees should bring a digital camera and cable if they have one;Instructor Chris Willis will bring a few extra cameras if you don't have one. Class size is limited.
